FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

FIVE COMPANIES JOIN BOMA INTERNATIONAL AS SUPPORTING AND AMBASSADOR PARTNERS

(WASHINGTON, D.C.–January 28, 2021) Five new companies announced that they have joined the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International’s Partnership Program as Supporting and Ambassador Partners. ABM, Coastwide Professional™ and Kastle Systems have joined as Supporting Partners, and Evolution Energy Partners and Mitsubishi Electric US have joined as Ambassador Partners. As partners, the companies pledge to support BOMA's critical work in advocacy, education and research.

BOMA International’s Partnership Program, developed in 2004, allows companies to invest in their own success, as well as that of the commercial real estate industry more broadly. With four levels of participation—Cornerstone Partner, Leadership Circle Partner, Supporting Partner and Ambassador Partner—the program demonstrates the commitment of leading organizations to support BOMA International with the resources to advance its various initiatives that benefit the entire commercial real estate industry.

“It’s my pleasure to welcome ABM, Coastwide Professional, Kastle Systems, Evolution Energy Partners and Mitsubishi Electric US to the BOMA International Partnership Program,” said BOMA International Chair Shelby Christensen, LEED Green Associate. “BOMA is excited about this growing program, and we look forward to partnering with these five industry-leading companies on programs and resources that will help our members thrive.”

“Our ABM team members have long been active in BOMA local associations and BOMA International, and we are proud to enhance our sponsorship to Supporting Partner of BOMA International,” said Tony Piucci, senior vice president of Enterprise Solutions at ABM. “We look forward to working even more closely with BOMA leadership and providing members educational insights on ways to give building occupants clean, healthy, safe and sustainable spaces through programs like ABM’s EnhancedClean™ and EnhancedFacility™, which help to fight against COVID-19 and other seasonal pathogens.”

“Safety and cleaning have always been at the forefront of daily business operations, but now is our moment to get our customers back to the workplace,” said Daniel Reilly, vice president of Brand & Product Management at Staples. “The way a commercial real estate property looks on the surface is a direct reflection of the building’s safety and cleaning policies. Coastwide Professional is excited to partner with BOMA and its members and share our best Jan-San practices, so building operators can focus on their core business."

“Kastle Systems is proud to be a Supporting Partner of BOMA International to help further its mission to advance a vibrant commercial real estate industry through advocacy, influence and knowledge,” said Haniel Lynn, CEO of Kastle Systems. “Commercial real estate powers the world workplace and sets the stage for the richness of urban life. We are honored to serve the industry in this effort by providing our security expertise to enable a safer, smarter and more convenient world and workplace for buildings, businesses, their workers and the communities they serve.”

“Evolution Energy Partners (EEP) is excited to increase our involvement with BOMA International in 2021 as an Ambassador Partner,” said Chuck Hurchalla, president of Evolution Energy Partners. “We truly believe that our industry knowledge, sustainability impact and energy solutions can provide great benefits to BOMA members around the world. EEP is dedicated to BOMA and our customers and strives to provide sustainable solutions that drive down cost, reduce carbon footprint and provide a positive impact to the bottom line.”

“We are thrilled to engage with BOMA International as an Ambassador Partner,” said Erik Zommers, senior vice president and general manager of Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. Elevator and Escalator Division. “As leaders in the manufacturing, maintenance and modernization of elevators and escalators, we know our success is contingent on helping commercial property owners and managers reduce the total cost of operation of vertical transportation systems while adding value through enhancing safety and reliability. Especially as we continue to navigate our way through COVID-19 and its impact on commercial real estate, we look forward to sharing resources, education and best practices in support of BOMA International’s initiatives and its members.”
