2019 District Advocacy Day

Formerly known as the National Issues Conference: Local Edition, District Advocacy Day provides BOMA members with an opportunity to meet with their representatives locally during the Congressional recess, which runs from August 5th to September 6th. As constituents, your visits will significantly bolster BOMA's Advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill and help advance our 2019 Legislative Priorities.

To ensure the success of your Advocacy Day, each local association will be sent folders to leave behind for your lawmakers at each meeting. Attendee information such as talking points on the issues can be downloaded by your local association BAE for distribution. These packets should arrive during the first week of August. Please let BOMA know if your local plans to participate and how many lawmakers you plan to visit.

Please contact Meg Novak, mnovak@boma.org or 202-326-6337 for any questions or assistance.
