2022 Winter Business Meeting &
National Issues Conference
February 6-9
Washington, D.C.

Join us for BOMA International's 2022 Winter Business Meeting & National Issues Conference. Open to all BOMA members, this event offers the chance to network, learn and participate in interactive discussions on emerging trends and best practices in commercial real estate. It’s also your chance to advocate on behalf of commercial real estate directly with your elected officials.

Health and Safety Policy

Under the new mandated protocols dictated by the District of Columbia to help stop the spread of COVID-19. New mandates, as outlined below, include proof of vaccination and mask wearing in public areas.

Beginning January 15, 2022, most D.C. public businesses and venues will require all patrons to show proof that they have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine before they are allowed entry (two doses will be required starting February 15, 2022). This includes indoor event and meeting spaces, restaurants, bars, common areas within hotels, entertainment and sporting venues, fitness centers and more.

Effective through at least January 31, 2022, D.C. law also requires that all individuals wear masks in indoor public spaces, regardless of vaccination status. This public health order may or may not still be in effect during the Winter Business Meeting in February, but regardless of this order, you will still need to wear a mask during your visits to Capitol Hill, as mask-wearing is required inside all federal buildings per the Executive Order on Protecting the Federal Workforce.

In accordance with D.C. law and to protect the health and safety of our attendees, BOMA International is requiring that all Winter Business Meeting attendees must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. A negative COVID-19 test will not suffice under current D.C. regulations. As we did for the annual conference in Boston last October, we will again use a digital health app that will enable attendees to submit their vaccination requirement in advance to expedite the registration process onsite. All registered attendees will receive instructions on how to use the app two weeks prior to the event. In addition, as dictated by D.C. regulations, we also will require all registrants to wear a mask in meeting spaces.
