FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mesa by Sidewalk Labs Joins BOMA International as a Supporting Partner

(WASHINGTON, D.C. — June 30, 2022) The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International announced that Mesa by Sidewalk Labs has joined BOMA International’s Partnership Program. As a Supporting Partner, Mesa pledges to strengthen BOMA's critical work in research, education, advocacy and thought leadership.

BOMA International’s Partnership Program, developed in 2004, allows companies to invest in their own success, as well as that of the commercial real estate industry more broadly. With four levels of participation—Cornerstone Partner, Leadership Circle Partner, Supporting Partner and Ambassador Partners—the program demonstrates the commitment of leading organizations to support BOMA International with the resources to advance its various initiatives that benefit the entire commercial real estate industry.

“We are pleased to welcome Mesa by Sidewalk Labs as a Supporting Partner,” said outgoing 2021-2022 BOMA International Chair Mark Dukes, BOMA Fellow, CCIM, RPA, senior vice president of Asset Management at Physicians Realty Trust. “Their industry expertise, backed by technology leader Google, makes them an outstanding partner for BOMA International, and we look forward to working with them to continue to develop programs and resources to support our members as they work to make their buildings smarter and more energy efficient.”

“We're looking forward to working with BOMA International members to decarbonize commercial buildings everywhere and make buildings energy efficient and comfortable,” said Rachel Steinberg, head of Mesa by Sidewalk Labs. “With a majority of building stock still lacking smart controls to reduce emissions in an easy, affordable manner, there’s a significant opportunity for us to work with owners and operators and offer them the resources and solutions they need to meet their sustainability goals.”
