BOMA 360 Performance Program Welcomes First Building in Mexico

January 28, 2019

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(WASHINGTON, D.C. – January 28, 2019) The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International is pleased to announce that the BOMA 360 Performance Program® has conferred the first BOMA 360 designation in Mexico upon Torre Anseli in Mexico City.

The BOMA 360 Performance Program evaluates commercial properties in six major areas: building operations and management; life safety/security/risk management; training and education; energy; environment/sustainability; and tenant relations/community involvement. BOMA 360-designated buildings total more than half a billion square feet of commercial space in more than 70 markets worldwide, including buildings in the U.S., Canada, China, Colombia, Japan and now Mexico. Earning a BOMA 360 designation offers buildings tangible results, measured through higher tenant retention and satisfaction scores, higher rental rates and documented operational efficiencies as reported in designee surveys and by Kingsley Associates.

“BOMA International is pleased to see that the BOMA 360 designation is continuing to expand globally with the addition of the first designated building in Mexico,” said BOMA International Chair Brian D. Cappelli, BOMA Fellow, RPA, vice president of Asset Management for GBX Group LLC. “With Torre Anseli leading the way, the commercial real estate industry in Mexico can now reap the many benefits of the BOMA 360 designation.”
