June 21, 2018
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(WASHINGTON, D.C. – March 26, 2018) The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International’s annual exposition, the BOMA International Conference & Expo, has been named one of the fastest growing trade shows by the magazine Trade Show Executive. Every year, BOMA International’s expo brings together hundreds of exhibitors offering cutting-edge market solutions to help property professionals create the highest performing assets. The 2018 BOMA International Conference & Expo will take place June 23-26 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio.
Trade Show Executive ranked the 2017 BOMA International Conference & Expo as one of the top 50 fastest growing shows in the category of Exhibiting Companies. The trade show also was recognized as one of the “Next 50” for Net Square Feet of Exhibit Space. The “Next 50” recognition puts the BOMA International Expo in the top 100 trade shows for this category. BOMA International will be honored for these accomplishments at the Trade Show Executive Fastest 50 Awards & Summit on June 13-15 in Chicago.
BOMA International has received previous honors from Trade Show Executive. In 2015, BOMA International’s Expo was ranked as one of the top 50 fastest-growing trade shows in the category of total attendance. It also was recognized as a “Fast Tracker” in two additional categories: growth by net square feet of exhibit space and growth by number of exhibiting companies.
“We are pleased that Trade Show Executive has continued to recognize BOMA International’s annual trade show for its robust growth,” commented BOMA International Chair Rob Brierley, BOMA Fellow, managing director of Real Estate Management Services and executive vice president of Colliers Boston. "In a time of rapidly evolving technology and changing tenant expectations, the industry continues to rely on the BOMA International Conference & Expo for solutions to meet every operational challenge and enhance asset performance.”
The 2017 BOMA International Conference & Expo in Nashville, Tennessee, was one of BOMA International's largest annual conferences in more a decade. The 2018 conference will again offer forward-thinking sessions on emerging trends—such as a featured panel of industry experts on how the evolving workforce and new demands for tenant amenities are transforming commercial real estate. The BOMA International Expo features a dedicated Green Pavilion for the latest energy-efficient and environmentally friendly products from top industry providers, as well as the Technology Pavilion for the latest high-tech offerings—everything from simple apps to next-generation gadgets and software.
