FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(WASHINGTON, D.C. – July 8, 2014) The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International’s 2013-2014 Chair and Chief Elected Officer Rich Greninger recognized Robert Brierley, BOMA Fellow, with the Chair’s Award during the 2014 Every Building Conference & Expo in Orlando, Florida in late June.  The Chair’s Award is the highest recognition presented by the BOMA International Chair and is bestowed annually upon an individual who has set new standards of excellence for the commercial real estate industry through innovation, talent and dedication.

“I am pleased to present Rob Brierley with this Chair’s Award in recognition of his absolute dedication to ensuring that both BOMA and the commercial real estate industry continue to thrive,” commented Greninger, managing director with Carr Properties.  “Rob is a true leader at all levels.  In his beloved hometown of Boston, he served as President of BOMA/Boston and helped the local association experience an exceptional period of growth.  Rob brought that same natural leadership to BOMA International’s Executive Committee.  As current Chair of the BOMA 360 Council, he has been an absolute champion of the program, which has transformed the best practices of the commercial real estate marketplace.  The ideas and insights he brings to every role he serves are always valuable.”

Brierley has more than 25 years of real estate management experience.  He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Real Estate Management Services at Colliers International in Boston, Massachusetts.  He has held numerous leadership positions both at the local level with BOMA/Boston and with BOMA International.  In recognition of his exemplary and sustained contributions to the commercial real estate industry, his profession, his community and BOMA International, he was selected as part of the inaugural class of BOMA Fellows in 2012.
