Fourteen Commercial Properties Win The Outstanding Building of the Year® Awards

BOMA International Honors the Best of the Best in Commercial Real Estate
 
(ORLANDO, FLORIDA – June 25, 2014) The commercial real estate industry honored 14 commercial properties with The Outstanding Building of the Year® (TOBY®) Awards last night at the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International’s annual conference, the 2014 Every Building Conference and Expo, in Orlando, Florida.
 
The winners were recognized for excellence in office building management and operations in specific categories of building size or type.  To win an International TOBY Award, a property first must win both local and regional competitions.  Judging is based on community impact, tenant/employee relations programs, energy management systems, accessibility for disabled people, emergency evacuation procedures, building personnel training programs and overall quality indicators.  A team of expert industry professionals also conducted comprehensive building inspections.
 
The following properties were honored with 2014 TOBY Awards:
 
In the Corporate Facility category, the winner is 22 Sylvan Way in Parsippany, New Jersey.  The building is owned by Mack-Cali Realty Corporation and managed by Wyndham Worldwide and Premier Facility Services.
 
In the Earth category, the winner is Constellation Place in Los Angeles, California.  The property is owned by Constellation Place, LLC, and managed by JMB Real Estate Services, Inc.
 
In the Government Building category, the winner is the Arizona Game and Fish Building in Phoenix, Arizona.  The property is owned by Arizona Wildlife Finance Corporation and managed by Lincoln Property Company.
 
In the Historical Building category, the winner is The Hurt Building in Atlanta, Georgia.  The property is owned by Boxer F2, LP, and managed by Boxer Property Management.
 
In the Industrial Office Building category, the winner is Raritan Center Business Park in Edison, New Jersey.  The property is owned and managed by Federal Business Centers.
 
In the Medical Office Building category, the winner is Pearland Medical Plaza in Pearland, Texas.  The property owned by Healthcare Facilities Development and managed by HCFD Realty Management.
 
In the Renovated Building category, the winner is Premier Place in Dallas, Texas.  The property is owned by CPUS Premier Place, LP, and managed by CBRE, Inc.
 
In the Suburban Office Park Low-Rise category, the winner is Delmar Gardens in Chesterfield, Missouri.  The property is owned by Delmar Gardens at Conway Ridge, LLC, and managed by Cassidy Turley Real Estate Management Services.
 
In the Suburban Office Park Mid-Rise category, the winner is the Colorado Center in Santa Monica, California.  The property is owned by Equity Office and TIAA-CREF and managed by Equity Office.
 
In the buildings Under 100,000 Square Feet category, the winner is Gateway Oaks IV in Sacramento, California.  The property is owned by Hines VAF II Sacramento Properties, LP, and managed by Hines.
 
In the 100,000 to 249,999 Square Feet category, the winner is 250 South Wacker Drive in Chicago, Illinois.  The property is owned by Credit Suisse and managed by CBRE, Inc.
 
In the 250,000 to 499,999 Square Feet category, the winner is the Atrium Corporate Center in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.  The property is owned by Spear Street Capital, LLC, and managed by CBRE, Inc.
 
In the 500,000 to One Million Square Feet category, the winner is the U.S. Bancorp Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  The property is owned by Piedmont Office Realty Trust, Inc., and managed by Piedmont Office Management, LLC.
 
In the Over One Million Square Feet category, the winner is Burnett Plaza in Fort Worth, Texas.  The property is owned by TIER REIT, Inc., and managed by Behringer.
