BOMA Honors Outstanding Members of the Year Jim Kleeman, Angel Miller and Dan Yates

​ (WASHINGTON – June 29, 2011) The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International honored three of its members with the Regional Member of the Year Award last night at the 2011 BOMA International Conference, held in Washington, D.C. The Regional Member of the Year Awards are given to BOMA members who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment and contribution to the association and the real estate industry.

James R. Kleeman, RPA, general manager of Time Warner Center, Related Management Company, LP, BOMA/New York, was named Mid-Atlantic Region Outstanding Member of the Year. Kleeman has been a BOMA member since 2003 and serves on numerous committees. He is a member of the Board of Directors of BOMA/New York and is vice chair of BOMA International’s 360 Performance Program Council. Kleeman is general manager of the 2.8 million square foot Time Warner Center in New York City, a past The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) International winner.

Angel Miller, RPA, property manager, Highwoods Properties, BOMA/Raleigh-Durham, was named Southern Region Outstanding Member of the Year. Miller is currently the president of BOMA/Raleigh-Durham. She is a member of the board of directors, has co-chaired the Southern Region Conference and has served as a TOBY judge and member of the awards committee.

Dan Yates, RPA, regional manager, Gaedeke Group, LLC, BOMA/Dallas was named Southwestern Region Outstanding Member of Year. Yates is immediate past president of BOMA/Dallas and has been a member of BOMA since 1987. As regional manager of Gaedeke Group, LLC , he is responsible for the property management operations of nine buildings in two states and oversees six property managers. His total portfolio includes more than 1.7 million square feet.
