2016 National Issues Conference
Meeting with your representatives is crucial to BOMA’s legislative priorities, since you, as the constituent, are voicing your concerns! Your visits during the National Issues Conference on Wednesday, February 3rd bolster the BOMA Advocacy Team’s efforts on Capitol Hill.
BOMA International’s advocacy team is thrilled to announce that U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.) will be speaking at the “How to Take Our Message to Capitol Hill” session as part of the upcoming National Issues Conference in Washington, D.C. Senator Isakson, co-chair of the Congressional Real Estate Caucus, brings more than 30 years of experience working in real estate to Congress, and he serves as an important voice for the industry on Capitol Hill. A longtime supporter of BOMA International’s issues, Isakson has become one of BOMA’s strongest advocates in Congress. Read more about Senator Isakson biography and legislative history on his website.
Join Senator Isakson and others
for the “How to Take Our Message to Capitol Hill” session on Tuesday, February 2, from 2:00-3:30pm.
The session also will include a panel of Congressional staffers offering their
best practices for meeting with members of Congress to help attendees prepare
for Hill visits the following day.
To further BOMA’s message with your legislators, the state economic impact sheets created from the BOMA Economic Impact Study are available for each state and have all of your local association markets neatly broken down into usable statistics. All the sheets are already contained within your leave behind packets, and can be downloaded here for your use.
