Experience Exchange Report

Experience Exchange Report 2008

BOMA International’s research department produces the most comprehensive annual income and expense analysis (Experience Exchange Report EER) for office buildings across the United States and Canada.

Now in its 88th year of production, the 2008 EER report includes more than 5,000 office buildings and covers over one billion square feet of office space making it the industry standard for financial and operations information and data. From office rents, retail, and other income to real estate taxes, utilities, cleaning, repairs/maintenance, and roads/grounds, the EER presents the industry’s best benchmarking data. It features detailed analysis of 300 U.S. and Canadian cities as national trends. Currently available in both book and CD-ROM formats, the EER is a “must have” for successful benchmarking, budgeting, forecasting, and acquisitions.

Share Data. Improve Performance. Achieve Excellence. That’s what the EER is all about.

Share Data: Each year from January to March, the EER survey is available on BOMA’s Web site to collect. Participation in the EER is open to any commercial office building in the U.S. and Canada; membership in BOMA is not required. Sharing operating income and expense data through secure, confidential survey is free of charge, and participants receive the opportunity to purchase the EER at deeply discounted rates. Individual building data is kept confidential and only summary statistics are published in the report

Improve Performance: Data submitted through our online survey is aggregated and analyzed in the early spring, and the EER is produced, currently in book and CD-ROM format, in June. Industry practitioners have long used the EER to compare their operating performance with their peers, develop their budgets, evaluate acquisitions, and identify opportunities for operational improvements.

Achieve Excellence: The EER plays a critical role in achieving operational excellence.
