BOMA International Adds Ambassador Partner Level
April 4, 2017
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(WASHINGTON, D.C. — April 4, 2017) The Building Owners and
Managers Association (BOMA) International has announced the addition of the
Ambassador Partner level to its Partnership program. BOMA International’s
inaugural Ambassador Partners are Able Services, Allegion, Healthy Buildings
and Veritiv.
BOMA International’s Partnership Program, established in
2004, allows companies to invest in their own success, as well as that of the
commercial real estate industry more broadly. The addition of this new partner
type brings the levels of participation in the program to four—Cornerstone
Partner, Leadership Circle Partner, Supporting Partner and Ambassador Partner.
The program demonstrates the commitment of leading organizations to support
BOMA International with the resources to advance its various initiatives that
benefit the entire commercial real estate industry.
“We are pleased to welcome our new Ambassador Partners,”
said BOMA International Chair Brian M. Harnetiaux, senior vice president of
Asset Management at McCarthy Cook. “This new partnership level will allow even
more companies to support the industry through their thought leadership and
expertise.”
The four new partner companies represent a wide range of
services relevant to the industry. “We have long enjoyed our relationship with
BOMA and our fellow BOMA members, and look forward to continuing to support the
most forward-thinking real estate professionals in the industry,” commented Richard
Silberman, CEO of Healthy Buildings, a sustainability consulting firm.
Christopher Smith, national accounts manager of Software Alliance Members with
Allegion, a provider of security products and solutions, echoed these
sentiments. “Allegion is proud to be an inaugural BOMA International partner at
the Ambassador level,” he said. “We are excited to partner with this
gold-standard organization and support delivery of information, expertise and
the opportunity for building connections across the industry.”
The new Ambassador Partners will be uniquely positioned to serve
as a critical resource for BOMA members. “We work with property professionals
to deliver the best operations, while preserving real estate assets,” said Mark
Kelly, president of Able Services, a provider of janitorial, engineering, and facility
solutions. “We look forward to helping BOMA members stay ahead of industry
trends in a changing marketplace.” Barry
Nelson, senior vice president of Facility Solutions for Veritiv—a paper,
fulfillment and logistics provider—added, “Our team has the expertise and knowledge to help BOMA members
implement solutions to increase the marketability and operational
sustainability of facilities, while improving the health and productivity of
building occupants.”
