Kurt R. Padavano

Kurt R. Padavano, RPA, CPM, FMA, SMA, is chief operating officer of Advance Realty Group of Bedminster, New Jersey.
As COO of Advance Realty Group, Padavano's primary responsibilities are to provide the vision and leadership needed to successfully and profitably grow the operating company servicing a portfolio of assets in excess of 5 million square feet in the mid-Atlantic through Northeast United States markets. In addition to the vision and leadership for the management operations, he directs the business operations for a total employee base of more than 115 associates in the areas of human resources, information technology, insurance and risk management and acquisitions due diligence processes among others.
Padavano is a graduate of Harvard University and Pennsylvania State University. He is active in BOMA both on the local and international level. He is a former chairman of the Regional Owners Council and a member of BOMA's executive committee. On the local level, Padavano has served as president of BOMA/New Jersey, as well as chair of the Energy Aggregation Committee, and member of the Investment Committee. He also serves on the executive board of the New Jersey Patriots Path Council for the Boy Scouts of America and as the vice president of assets and facilities and as a board member of the Montessori Children's House in Morristown, New Jersey. Padavano serves as an advisory board member to Buildings magazine. Padavano also holds a New Jersey state real estate license.
Padavano holds the designations of Real Property Administrator (RPA), Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) and Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA) from the Building Owners and Managers Institute International and Certified Property Manager (CPM) from Institute of Real Estate Management. He is a highly respected educator in the industry and has instructed courses for professionals in many of the country’s top companies and government agencies. He has also authored and conducted seminars for corporate clients and service companies on the topics of benchmarking, customer service, acquisitions, due diligence, and property and asset management. He has represented the industry by providing professional testimony to both Senate and Assembly Committees in the State of New Jersey.
Padavano has recently been recognized in New Jersey as “one of the most dynamic and influential business professionals under the age of 40” as a recipient of the “40 Under 40” award. He also received the “Lifetime Achievement” award from the Boy Scouts of America in 2002. Real Estate Forum magazine acknowledged Padavano as one of 13 individuals recognized as “The Next Great Leaders” and “Rising Stars of Commercial Real Estate.”
